The Source of Our Strength

Yahweh is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.
Psalm 28:7

On our weakest days, when our body denies us freedom from pain and the mind becomes an open field on which our fears run wild and taunt us with regrets of yesterday and anxieties over the future, how do we still find strength to run towards today’s goals?

Start by trusting the Omnipotent ONE with all your heart. Imagine HIM walking alongside us, ordering every step, clearing our path with a breath. Like the Psalmist in the verse above, ask for help in trust mode then begin to give thanks. Experience the release of joy as you sing your song of thanksgiving.

Father, you are my strength and shield, you hear me and help me when I call, therefore I burst into song and dance and I tell how grateful I am. At the sound of my song my heart takes courage, my bones are no longer shaking, my mind breaks free from the weight of worry and I find joy! Your joy strengthens me. I am energized to run again to take the prize as I press to the goal you set for me.

Today, joy is the fuel that keeps me going
